Grow to Eat Festival @ Heckers

Join Heckers for our annual Grow to Eat Festival from the 27th October to 4 November.  Here, we will be showcasing all aspects of food gardening!  Entrance to the festival is free and friendly pets on leashes are welcome.

We have collaborated with our suppliers to bring you a magnificent collection of herbs, chilies, veggies, berries, fruit trees, and much more. Additionally, workshops have been lined up to show you how to grow, use and preserve your own edibles. Learn all about organic gardening, catch up on the latest edible trends and find out how you can start a food garden with limited space.

Students from Capsicum Culinary Studio will be joining us on Saturdays. They will be showcasing their cooking skills and demonstrate how to creatively prepare fresh edibles.

Delectable Prizes!

Don’t miss the chance to win one of four edible pots, a gardening hamper valued at R1500.00 and the grand prize of a potting bench worth R3000.00! Entries can be made in-store during the festival and prizes will  be drawn on weekends.
