Waking up this Tuesday was sure to bring some of us close to tears, seeing the extent of the damage that the hail has caused.  Coincidentally the hail come 3 days a year ago from the massive hailstorm we had last year on the 8th of November.   It can be quite depressing especially after all the hard work and love we have put into our gardens this summer.  To me the worst is all the little birds and wildlife that got killed which just serves to remind us of what a cruel mistress nature can be.  Yet one can look at the hail as nature’s way of pruning and you will find to your surprise that your garden will be looking better than before in no time at all.  However there are a few tasks that we have to do in the garden to help it recover faster.  Read our article on first aid for your garden.
