Heckers Garden Centre – Basket Planting Service

Our planted wire hanging baskets add instant colour to any garden and make great gifts all year round. Each basket is planted with care and includes a controlled slow-release fertilizer for less feeding and longer-lasting colour. We keep the baskets in our greenhouse for at least 3 weeks to ensure they are strong and healthy before going home with you.

How It Works:

1. Visit our store to choose your basket and plants, and let us know if it’s for sun or shade.
2. Pay in-store for the plants and the planting service.
3. When your basket stops flowering, simply bring it back! We’ll refresh it using your existing basket – you only pay for the plants and labour.
4. Need delivery? Just ask, and we’ll arrange it.

Orchid repotting

Give your orchids the care they deserve with our professional repotting service! Bring in your orchid, and we’ll carefully repot it using high-quality bark, trim any rotten roots, and select the perfect pot size to ensure healthy growth. Orchids need repotting every 2-3 years to stay thriving, and we recommend repotting when they are not in flower. We can provide an estimated price after assessing your orchid in-store.
