Ron’s bird calls were recorded in the bushveld during the 1990s using a directional microphone over many hours. Initially released on cassette tape, the recordings were later made available on compact disc, with the latest version in digital format. These bird calls reflect the deep love and passion for nature shared by Ronnie and Rika Hecker, the founders of Heckers Garden Centre, capturing the beauty of nature in all its forms.
